Our "baby" turns 2!

Oh my goodness, it's so hard to believe that my "baby" is now 2 years old! I will not lie, it doesn't seem like "just yesterday" that she was born, but the time has definitely flown by.

Here are her 2-year-old stats:
*28 lbs. 13 oz.
*34 inches tall
*She's a bit sassy these days
*FULL of energy!
*Hops when she's happy :)
*LOVES music and LOVES to dance
*Loves her BFF Audrey and constantly talks about her...and her mom, dad and baby brother, Henry! :)
*still loves books, but is getting more and more into TV - and is branching out to shows other than Dora (Wonder Pets, Bubble Guppies, Go Diego Go!, Calliou)
*Talks a ton!!! and talks in full sentences
*Counts to 10
*Has learned to open the screen doors (on her own! not good...) and likes to let Buck in/out
*Favorite food: spaghetti
*Has a serious sweet tooth! it's no wonder...I craved cake my entire pregnancy! :)
*Drinks from a cup at mealtime, but still uses a sippy cup the majority of the time

Randy and I stayed home with her today to celebrate Roo as a family, and partly to regroup before hitting the ground running again after vacation and Easter.

Remi started her day with a balloon-filled room, a cupcake followed by pancakes for breakfast, gifts. Then the day was filled with fun and playing...then our girl's favorite dinner...Speghetti and her official birthday cupcake, with two candles, of course! :)

The big party is Saturday. Looking forward to celebrating with friends at The Partin Barnyard ;)

Here are some pics from our sweet girl's special day!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail!

What a wonderful Easter!

We dyed Easter eggs on Saturday.
The first time for Remi and a refresher for Randy & I.
WOW! Messy - Messy - Messy!!
Remi really liked it, but DID NOT like it when you took the dye away. Oh boy!
Then....she squeezed the eggs and made an even bigger mess.
Then there were 7. :)

Then...The bunny made a stop at our house and surprised Remi with all sorts of treats...her very first chocolate bunny, bubbles...bubbles...and more bubbles, books and dress up clothes. She was happy to see he stopped here!!

Then we headed to church in our Easter best. We are so blessed to have a great church that we love, and Remi really loves her class too!

Then we hosted friends for Easter dinner and a mini egg hunt for Audrey & Remi Roo. :)

We hope you enjoyed your Easter weekend. We did! :)

M-I-C...K-E-Y....M-O-U-S-E!!!!

We just returned from an AMAZING family vacay to Walt Disney World. We now need a vacation from our vacation, but oh well...there's no time for that!

We met my parents at WDW and stayed with them at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground Saturday - Friday. I was 6 weeks old the first time I visited Fort Wilderness and have SOOOOO many memories of this place. Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face, seriously!! :) It's a wonderful place! Camping with all the luxuries of a WDW resort. Anywhoo....I could go on and on about that for hours. On to the details of Remi's first visit to "Mickey's House!"

We celebrated Remi's birthday - which is Monday.

We did a lot of this...

And this...

And we hung out with this crazy guy...

And this guy too...

And smiled a lot here...

And here...

And Remi did a lot of this...

And even got to spend time with this crazy lady...

And we are so grateful that we were able to spend our vacation with these two...

Thank you so much for a wonderful time!!! :)

Check out all our pictures here...WARNING: there are a lot of pics because we made lots of memories :) AWE! :)

Now...on to the next adventure! Check back tomorrow...the Easter Bunny is set to arrive tomorrow :)

Remi Caroline...meet Midnight!

Last year, my baby looked like this...11 mos. old. {click here}
This year, my "baby" looks like this at 23 mos. old...and is growing WAY TOO FAST :(

Last year, she traumatized the bunny, Cinnamon, by picking him up by his ears!

This year, she couldn't have cared less about the bunny! Midnight was his name...and well, he didn't seem to care about being there much either!

It was still fun and neat to see the difference she's made in one year. My, how she's grown!!!
