Merry Christmas...one & all!

My parents are visiting for the holiday and it has been such a wonderful Christmas. We've just enjoyed them being here so much. Remi is so full of life these days...they are loving being here in all her glory!

We baked a cake for Jesus' birthday and cookies for Santa. Last night, we hosted Christmas Eve dinner and then made it to the Christmas Eve service at our church.

With Santa's arrival, comes Bunkle's departure. He left her a note to "be good!" She has asked about him a few times today and seems sad that he's gone. She will miss him, but he'll be back next year! All reports to the North Pole must've been good because Santa stopped at our house last night, and boy did he ever spoil our Roo!! She was overwhelmed with all the gifts, but by the end of the afternoon, all gifts were opened....whew! Who would've thought you would have to coax a kid to open more gifts! HA! That will change in time, I'm sure!

Here are some pics from the weekend, and what a wonderful one it was! Here's to many more days off and two more with my parents!!!

From our home to yours, Merry Christmas!

Our North Pole Visitor, Mr. Bunkle

I wanted to share some of the silly antics our new friend from the North Pole has been up to around our house over the past few weeks.

Santa Baby!

We finally made it to see Santa today. Remi and I wrote her list last night and practiced just what to say to Santa when he asked the questions..."Have you been good?" and "What do you want for Christmas?" She was ready!!

Bunkle the elf even left her a note last night wishing her luck on her visit to see the big guy! He brought her a special Santa purse to celebrate the occasion. "That crazy Bunkle!" has been a frequent statement from Roo this month.

When her turn to sit on his lap finally arrived, she walked right up to him like a big girl and climbed right up on his knee. She didn't stop smiling the entire time and you could tell she was A-MAZED that he was there...sitting right next to her!
