R - E - M - I

She can write her name ... with some direction, of course! I was so proud ... I almost cried :)

Tumblin'

Remi started gymnastics and loves it! She's just in her third week, but says that she wants to continue...so we will. The only issue so far, her listening ears seems to be broken and I can see the teacher gets a little frustrated with her. Maybe that will get better soon!
Here's a couple pics of our little gymnast.

Oh no, Remi's got the FLU!

Yep ... It bit ... Remi Roo's had the flu and was part of the 2013 Influenza A outbreak. Luckily we caught it early and she didn't have it too terribly bad. It was a Wednesday - Saturday spell and we owe our short run to Tamiflu ... thank you, Tamiflu!!! Thank goodness it wasn't too bad. She was a trooper! Thankfully, my flu shot was effective and Randy was away for his planned ice fishing trip, so we both steered clear. WHEW! It was a LONNNNGGG 4 days inside. We played ... and played ... made cupcakes ... colored ... played some more ... and eventually made it out alive! Mommy, however, let's just say needed a break come Sunday!

I want to be a dentist!

Remi has had her first cavity...and her first filling! She was a real trooper...or the gas really helped! HA! I have to admit, she was pretty funny and had the hygenist and I laughing out loud.
Afterwards, I took her to Target for a "prize" and she picked a Playdoh Dentist set. She says she wants to be a dentist! :)

Merry Christmas from C-Town...a little late!

We had a wonderful Christmas!! My parents and my sister and her family came from Alabama to spend the holiday with us and it was A-MAZING! I love my family so much and it really stinks that we live so far apart :( but, as I told my sister when we were texting back and forth last week ... "God has a plan" and for that, we must be patient! I love my Michigan family too! And Michigan is my fav!

My family has been to Michigan a few times in the winter and it never snows ... until they leave. This year, we got a ton of snow and we had the most fun playing in it together. They were amazed that we Michiganders still function normally too. It's fun to be reminded how wonderful a snow day truly is!!

Remi was spoiled by Santa, and as she put it - she must have been good!! The excitement was amazing. She just couldn't open enough gifts and went through them like a tornado! We celebrated, ate and celebrated some more thoughout the five days they were here. I loved every minute of it and I loved that there wasn't a spare inch in my house!!

Here are TONS of pics from the holiday. We hope you had a wonderful CHRISTmas ... we sure did!
