Welcome to St. Clawdale Park

We wrapped up a wonderful summer with our annual trip to Evart, Mich., with our St. Clawdale Park group - the Nelson's, Evangelista's and Maes' families. (St. Clawdale Park represents each city that the members of our group reside.) The weather was a bit shocking - rainy and COLD, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Their attitudes were contagious and we all had a great time! Campfires, movie night, potluck dinner, park and the biggest change for us this year...chasing a curious 1 year old! :)
Here are some pics of the trip. As usual, the perfect way to bring Summer to a close :(

Summer Lovin'

We've had a busy, HOT, fun summer and we can't believe it's already mid-August!! We've had a lot of visitors and other things occupying our time, and haven't done a lot of camping. But this weekend we took our 2nd camping trip of the season with friends. As always, we had a wonderful time with the Nelson's, Sara and the Maes' and camped in a large group with (17 families!) with our friends the Ross family. What a great time!! We really enjoyed ourselves and meeting all of their friends! Remi, Audrey & Andre had a ball playing at the beach, taking wagon rides and playing in the sprinkler!

In other news, I have moved to a four-day work week so I can be home with Remi on Friday. I'm really loving it and hope it continues for a long time! I've been told it could be temporary, but we'll see. :)

As for our Roo, she's chaning so much every single day. She's getting SOOOO big!!! She's become quite independent and minds really well...for now! She's really into dancing and playing with Buck. What a fun age!!

Here are some pics from the weekend...

Life's a Beach

We had professional photos done when we vacationed at Topsail Beach, NC in May. Here are our favs! So many great memories :)

A little update on Roo...
She's talking like crazy! Most people couldn't understand her, but we can :) Here are some words she often says:
Buck! - she thinks any dog or cat is buck!
Cracker - she can eat her weight in crackers in the matter of minutes! She LOVES Ritz crackers!!!
Mama - quite the little snuggler :)
Dada - she's definitely going to be a daddy's girl

Until next time :)
