So long summer!

We ended Summer with our St. Clawdale Park crew in Port Huron. What a great weekend!! We experienced the hottest Summer could offer with 90+ degrees Friday & Saturday, 70's on Sunday and 60's Monday! We camped at the KOA and boy, did we have fun! We swam, went for a train ride, mined for gold, had a bumper boat war and raced go-carts. It was s blast! Along with this also came bike rides, wagon rides, campfires, our annual St. Clawdale Park potluck and lots of crafts for the kiddos. Lots of memories = lots of pictures! ENJOY!

Summer was great this year...but Fall has arrived. Looking forward to a fun Fall...and more camping before the cold weather really sets in!

On another note, Randy and I also celebrated 7 years of wedded bliss on Sunday :) Happy Anniversary to my sweet hubby...MMMMMAAH!

Splish Spalshin' Around!

Today we went for a playdate at the Zeller's...since we hadn't seen them since...well...May! An impromptu gathering that turned out to be quite the fun afternoon! The kiddos are at such a fun age and have so much fun together. That is, after Remi warmed up. It was odd...she was shy for the first hour...totally out of her character! Here are some pics of the cuties!

Now entering the big girl room!

Today, we transitioned Remi's nursery to a big girl room...sniff sniff! Our baby is growing up, and I just can't believe this time is here. Okay, I can belive it...but I don't want to accept it!

She loves it and said to me when we in for the "big reveal", "It's beautiful, mommy!" That statement...just melted my heart!!!

Our little Roo, she's such a little cutie thess days, and such the imagination! She's now telling US stories! She always starts off with "once upon a time...", and each story usually takes places in a forest, and ALWAYS ends with "happily ever after!..The end." It's precious. Last night, she told me a story about a rabbit in the forest, then led to baby Remi being chased by a tiger...oh my! While she was watching a replay on my phone, she says to me..."mommy, this is a scary story! this tiger is scary!" Oh, to have a childs imagination again! :)
