The Uninvited Visitor

After a vaccination for Rotavirus, Remi Roo still got the bug...and what a BUG it was! It started early Friday a.m. with vomiting and high fever and on Saturday even got to 105, which made for two very scared parents and one very uncomfortable and sick little girl!!! The virus is still carrying on with a vengeance through our home, as Randy is down for the count now. I'm hoping that my positive thinking and vitamin-infused self will be able to steer clear, but only time will tell.

So this week - Remi's been doing a lot of this...



and eating a lot of these.... (Pedialyte, but of course)



Remi's been clear of symptoms since 4 a.m., so tomorrow she will return to daycare...and mommy can get back to work :) YAY! Here's hoping this is our of her system and we can start to do some real spring cleaning at Chateau Partin! Happy Spring :)

Disney on Ice!

Thanks to our sweet friend, Kim, we were able to enjoy the evening with friends at Toy Story 3 on Ice last night. So much fun! Even if Remi did fall asleep just after Intermission...she still enjoyed it! She hasn't seen Toy Story yet - a little too young to sit through anything more than 20-30 minutes, unless it's Dora :) She did however, LOVE seeing Mickey & Minnie take the ice!

an afternoon with kate

Remi and I were lucky enough to spend the afternoon with Kate Jellison a few weeks ago. Kate and I share a few mutual friends, but met through a Stella & Dot event. She's got the photography eye and will soon be starting her own photography biz. For now, she's "just a mom with a camera" as her blog says, but after our afternoon with kate...she's much more than that! :)
