Carnival Cutie!

Yesterday I turned 35. Yes. It's true. I'm not 29 as you would guess. It's a number and you're only as old as you feel. Well, I'm kinda startin' to feel it! Uh oh! But, my Roo keeps me young, thank goodness!

We spent the day at the Livonia Spree with the Nelson's and the Evangelista's. It was a fun HOT sunny day and we had a great time! Remi's been talking about ferris wheels for months and it was perfect timing to show her what it was all about. We let that be the grand finale and she liked it, well, all except when we got stopped at the very top. She wasn't a big fan of that! Overall, a GRAND day at the fair, and a great way to start my 36th year! Eh boy!!!!!!

Chomp Chomp!

Remi had her first dentist appointment yesterday and Dr. Hosea said that her 20 little teeth are perfect! Whew! With my dental history, I've been pretty adament about brushing her little teeth and praying that she has better luck with her teeth than I had with mine. Randy and I both had to have braces, and I had to have jaw surgery at 16, so I want to do everthing in my power to help her keep her chompers clear! From Dr. Hosea's mouth....at this point, she doesn't look like she needs braces! She said the spacing looks good!!

Here are some pics. She did GREAT! We had practiced at home and Dr. Hosea was very impressed with Remi's patience and willingness to participate in the cleaning. Thata girl!

Let's Get It Started!

Summer has begun, whether the calendar says June 20th or not!
We kicked off the 2012 camping season this past weekend with our camping crew at Port Huron KOA in Port Huron, MI. Despite rain and chilly temps, we had a great time. Our family decided to extend our stay and spent Monday enjoying the campground...basically to ourselves! We are looking forward to a busy camping summer! Afterall, the payment doesn't just happen May - October....so we'll make the most of it while we can.
