2 Months Already!

I can't believe Remi is already two months old! Today, I looked back at all the photos from when she arrived and then recent pics...she's changed so much!! She's really starting to have a personality and I am so happy to be at home with her for now. I love seeing her grow! She really is a good baby.

Here are the latest stats on our baby girl...
*10 lbs. 15 oz - 50th percentile for weight
*23.75 inches long - 92nd percentile for height -- she's gonna be tall like her momma!
*Slept IN her crib all night last night {YEAH!!!!} with a break at 2 p.m. for a snack.
*Still has reflux, but it seems to be getting better. We're still giving her Zantac three times a day to make her tummy feel better
*Coos A LOT
*Laughs at anything on the ceiling...oh the little things ;)
*Smiles when you smile.
*Will hold a rattle if you put it in her hand
*Nursing every 2.5-3 hours
*Naps great, but only in her swing or bouncy seat. Mostly the swing!

We have the 4th of July coming next weekend and with Clawson's Fourth being a big deal we're hosting our 4th Annual Partin BBQ. Also, my sister and her family will be visiting from Alabama to meet baby Remi {BIG SMILE!!!:)}, so check back later for an updated post.

born 2 camp

It's official...Remi's a born camper :)

We traveled Northeast to Port Sanilac, Michigan, about 1.5 hours away and located on Lake Huron. Although our weekend was quite soggy, we had a great time. When we arrived on Friday night, Remi went down for the night after we got settled and she slept for 7.5 hours!! It was awesome. Her excitement must have tired her out!

We had storms Friday night and into Saturday morning, but then the sun came out for a few hours...and with the sun came a cold front! It was in the lower 60s for the remainder of the day with a thunderstorm in the afternoon. So the sites were a little wet...okay, really wet, but we were able to enjoy a few walks and some good company.

Just chillin' in her carseat, one of her favorite places to be.

This morning, we celebrated Randy's first Father's Day and he opened his gifts from Remi, Buck & I.

Remi's first project for daddy - a stepping stone for his garden. That's her footprint in the middle. A little hard to do with an 8 week old, but we know it's there :)

We can't wait to make plans for our next trip and hope it will be warmer.

Wanna Play?

This has been a busy week for Remi and I. She had her first two play dates - first with Ella, then with Tatym. Thanks girls, for getting this new stay at home mom out of the house and giving me some adult conversation!!!

Here are some pics.

Remi's changing so much every day. She's smiling a lot now and we'll even get a laugh now and then. She's cooing like crazy, but never when I have the camara ready :) She'll be 8 weeks Saturday. I can't believe my baby is 2 months old already! Time flies!!! I guess I should look at my lay off as a blessing because there is no way that I would be ready to leave my baby at daycare yet. She's just too tiny!! :)

Say cheese!

We pull out tomorrow for our first camping trip of the season and our very first trip as a family :) The weather was supposed to be bad, but now...the weatherman changed his mind and it's all SUNNY days for us! So, check back next week for a post from Remi's first camping trip.

One more thing...I wanna give a SHOUT OUT! to Jocelyn for the fantabulous new blog banner!!! Thanks, girl!
