Fall Y'all

I must say, I'm disappointed in myself for not blogging much these past few months! We've been BUSY! With pumpkin picking, pumpkin carving, Halloween and two visits to Alabama in October, it's just been overwhelming.

Remi's getting SOOOO big! Here are her stats at age 3 1/2:
*40 lbs
*42 inches
*size 11 1/2 shoe ... I KNOW!
*size 4 clothing
*still obsessed with Dora ... as in wakes up asking for it, and goes to bed dreaming about it!
*really into baby dolls and diapering anything and everything that could possibly pee or poop HA!
*loves her teacher, Ms. Roshauda
*doesn't like the idea of going to school, but once she's there...she's good

We lost my Nannie October 31st and I've been heartbroken since. She was a wonderful person and I loved her dearly! It's hard, but it's easier knowing she's in heaven and having the most wonderful time there! I miss her so much, but at least I have all the memories to keep me company ;)

We decided to stay home this weekend and enjoy time...TOGETHER! Just us! So, we took advantage of every minute and I couldn't even keep count of the smile appearances all weekend long :)

Saturday - my sweet hubby put up our tent from our early days of marriage. Remi was ECSTATIC! I was inside when the tent went up and she came running in with THE BIGGEST smile and could barely get it out that "DADDY PUT UP A TENT...IN...OUR...BACKYARD! And, WE'RE GONNA SLEEP IN IT TONIGHT!" (Not quite, but at least she tried!) She spent the rest of the afternoon running in and out of the house taking her toys to the tent. We grilled out, had a campfire and watched a movie in the tent together. Then, she decided she wanted to sleep inside. It was a GREAT night and my heart was full!!

Then on Sunday after church, to the TroyDaze carnival we went. Grandma joined us too and we had a great day there! She just loved it, and quite frankly....so did I! :) I loved riding the ferris wheel with her. It once again, made my heart full!

Preschool!

Remi has been so excited to start preschool. She's still at the same daycare, but she did move into a new classroom with a new teacher and some new friends. It's not much of a change to us, but to her...it's PRESCHOOL, and she was so excited for her first day! She got a new backpack, outfit and all. Here are some pics of our sweet little preschooler --
